Michael Rother left Neu! for a farmhouse in Forst, where Roedelius and Moebius of Cluster were already living, and the three of them made the most generous record any of them touched. Motorik and drift holding each other up for forty minutes. Eno called them the world's most important band, which was overstated, and not by very much.
