Steve Cobby and David McSherry made downtempo from Hull with a wry streak the rest of trip-hop conspicuously lacked. They ran Pork Recordings, remixed everyone from Radiohead to Simple Minds, and kept a pulse under music that their peers were letting go slack. Maim That Tune is British chill-out with jokes in it.
