Born in Senegal, raised in Kuwait, and building records around an imagined China assembled from Western misreadings of it. Asiatisch uses grime's rhythmic skeleton and a Sinogrime vocabulary to make an argument about how places get heard from a distance. It is conceptually sharper than anything near it and works without the concept.
