She DJed in Chicago for years before she recorded, and her work is explicitly about rave as a healing and trans space rather than a party. Quivering in Time is chopped-up and joyous, made by someone who lived through every era it samples. With Octo Octa she runs T4T LUV NRG, which is a community as much as a label.
