John Elliott, Steve Hauschildt and Mark McGuire, working in Cleveland with synthesizers and a guitar, having clearly heard the entire Berlin school and being unembarrassed about it. Does It Look Like I'm Here? is the revival's best record: long-form, melodic, and made by three people rather than one man with a sequencer.
