Helmut Geier ran International Deejay Gigolo out of Munich and more or less willed electroclash into existence, signing Miss Kittin and Fischerspooner and working the fashion end of club culture without a trace of embarrassment. NY Muscle is sleaze-techno with a guest list and remains the scene's only real album-length statement.
