Ren Schofield plays techno like a hardcore punk set, cassette-hot and completely unwilling to breathe. He came from the American noise underground and brought its logic with him, treating distortion as structure rather than finish. LP landed on Spectrum Spools in 2011 and turned noise-techno from an occasional novelty into an actual lane.
