Alec Empire, Hanin Elias and Carl Crack, shouting over breakbeats at punk tempo with an explicitly anti-fascist programme most of the scene around them lacked. Digital hardcore was a manifesto before it was a genre, and they were the band attached to it. Crack died in 2001, and the records still sound like an emergency.
