Alec Empire

He founded Digital Hardcore Recordings in Berlin in 1994 and spent the decade making the loudest political records in electronic music, with Atari Teenage Riot and alone. The Destroyer is the solo one: scorched jungle, no band, no slogans, considerably less legible than the group work. He has never made a record that wanted to be liked.
