
Marc Leclair built house music from half-second snatches of Montreal radio: adverts, guitar stabs, talk shows, all diced into swing. My Way turned that gimmick into a working language in 2002 and minimal techno spent the following decade borrowing the technique without ever quite borrowing the humour that made it land.
