Artificial Intelligence is the anthology that invented the category a third of this list lives in. Eight artists, but curated as a manifesto, with an armchair on the sleeve and 'electronic listening music' as its thesis, it told a generation that this music was for headphones as much as floors. It's the one anthology admitted here, because its author is really Warp itself. It earns sixty as a record and not just a document, which is a rare thing for a compilation to do.
