Acid Mt. Fuji comes from somewhere European acid did not. Susumu Yokota turns the 303 meditative, treating texture and atmosphere as seriously as the rush. The result sits outside the Western acid story without needing to argue with it. A singular curiosity, and the singularity is exactly the point.
