Aerotropolis keeps Ikonika's wonky UK-bass language bright, melodic and rhythmically off-center. Fourteen tracks and two of them, 'Practice Beats' and 'Completion V.3', are barely sketches left in the running order. The synth hooks carry real personality, while the skewed grooves stop the sweetness from settling into straightforward electro-pop.
