Why it's here

Fever Ray builds a self-contained world from pitch-shifted vocals, icy synths and low-lit dread. 'If I Had A Heart' opens it and was on television within a year. That is not what it sounds built for. The production keeps every element slightly estranged, making the voice and electronics feel like parts of the same altered body.
