Meeting with the King puts gqom's polyrhythmic force at the center of the album. DJ Lag cuts the drums sparse, heavy and syncopated, letting rhythmic authority and negative space do more work than melodic decoration. 'Raptor' is the shortest thing here and the one that travels furthest.
